Since 1889, Pingelly Hotel has stood proudly on the corner of Park and Quadrant Streets, right across from the railway station. Built in an era when country hotels were the true heart of a town, this heritage two-storey building was designed around the communal spirit of the time — shared verandahs, shared stories, and shared facilities, where travellers and locals alike gathered under one roof as one community.
That spirit lives on today. Our upstairs rooms share two well-appointed bathrooms, just as they always have — a small nod to a bygone era of country hospitality, when a hot shower and a good yarn with a fellow traveller were part of the experience, not an inconvenience.
